“I’m just here to make things a lot freaking easier for people.”
Okay… listening!
Jess Burgio, a former hairstylist and mother, has built a successful business by utilizing the power of podcasting. She used her own personal experience to help her clients navigate the process of creating and growing a podcast. Jess believes that podcasting can be a valuable tool for developing and strengthening one’s personal brand.
Not only that, but she also emphasizes the benefits of participating in a mastermind course, such as gaining a community of like-minded individuals and gaining clarity in identifying one’s passions. She encourages others to explore the potential of podcasting and the benefits of a mastermind course for personal and professional growth.

Jess Burgio is the founder and host of the Beauty Inspires Beauty podcast. She mentors creative entrepreneurs with concrete and approachable, plus proven straps to help grow and scale their brand. She believes when you truly step into your passion and purpose, everything in life becomes possible.

Who I am is someone who loves to nurture and take care of and help. She grew up being very vocal, not much of a filter, and that haunted her for a long time. Now she gets paid to give people coaching advice, mentorship. Right now it’s getting a little bit more quiet.
[00:07:22]
I think you learn so many things being a team player, and that you get to infuse all of that into the wisdom of coaching. In team sports, someone needs to be the boss in the group. It progressed even when I got into the salon environment because that was a team atmosphere.
[00:09:55]
She was in the salon industry for quite a while, and then that kind of has shifted. Now her focus is much more into entrepreneurship and coaching. She says it’s still an evolution. She’s only three years into this new phase of business and doing other things.
[00:13:55]
I wasn’t clear on why I would start a podcast. Time was kind of one of my main excuses. Pick something you want to talk about, something you’re passionate about. If you want it to be successful, you’ve got to put some actual effort and time and resources into it.
[00:20:54]
Why I wish I would have started my podcast sooner. She says podcasting is a great top of funnel tool for you to grow awareness around who you are. People will resonate with you based on how you show up.
[00:28:15]
A four week podcast course is coming soon. The fundamentals of it are tried and true. The key is trusting your intuition and seeing the intersections of your talents and seeing your purpose. We need to be in community when we’re doing scary things.
[00:32:15]
Will you share at least one super expander story with me today? The first time where I saw somebody see me in a new light and step into that coaching space. It all started with the big bold ask of asking him to be on your podcast. Mind blown.
[00:35:57]
For anyone thinking about making an investment in themselves, what is your recommendation? Every next step leads you to the next step. You need to do your due diligence. Don’t make rash emotional decisions. Give yourself time to figure out what is really, truly right for you.
[00:42:25]
The Beauty Inspires Beauty podcast has evolved so much from that very first day. It’s so much around being you and showing up as your authentic self. The best way that you can thank our amazing guests is to share your biggest takeaway and then tag us on social media.
